In the elections held for 20 provincial assembly seats in Punjab, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf won 15 seats, Muslim League-N won four seats and independent candidates won one seat.
According to the unofficial and inconclusive results received so far, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf won two seats of from Jhang, three from Lahore and one each from Multan, Rawalpindi, Muzaffargarh, Dera Ghazi Khan, Sahiwal, Khushab, Bhakkar, Sheikhupura, Faisalabad, Lodhran.
The Muslim League (N) won 4 seats in the by-elections of Punjab, including one in Lahore (168), Muzaffargarh (273) and Bahawalnagar.
Polling continued from 8 am to 5 pm without any break, the voters who entered the polling station before the end of the scheduled time cast their votes, while the voters who came after the scheduled time were not allowed to enter the polling station.
